themselves
with the written
material – the
toolkit and
the booklet.

the idea of
TC to PCCs
and congregations.
- Consultants

to parishes,
and suggestions
communicated
towards the
end of July.
Any problems
with allocation
to be communicated
immediately
to Carol (+Andrew’s
PA) Carol@birmingham.anglican.org.

September -
December 2009

with their allocated
parish. This
will probably
include sending
a mystery worshipper.

Sept. @11:00am,
St Martin in
the Bullring.
- Consultant
and incumbent
have initial
meeting to
discuss approach
to TC and arrange
content of

meeting.
- First parish
meeting. Consultant

people to TC
process, explains
task, and points
to available
resources.
The incumbent
talks through
how the parish
will continue
to process
and determine
their vision
/ targets.

January - July
2010
- Further meetings
of the PCC
(at least one)
either with
or without
consultant
to use the
7 areas, and
other resources
to crystallise
the vision
and draw up
targets.
- Final meeting
with consultant
and PCC to
agree clear
achievable
targets. Consultant
will advise
on available
resources.
Parish Target
form is completed
and posted
to Sally.

Summer 2010-2011
- Parish
vision and
targets are
communicated
to the whole
church and
implementation
begins (preferably
using congregation
members as ‘target
champions’).
- Consultant
will continue
to be on call
and initiate
review in spring
2011 to encourage
celebration
and setting
of new goals.
