A
series of
lectures
to inspire,
strengthen
and deepen
our daily
discipleship.
The Lectures
will begin
at 8.00pm
every Wednesday
evening during
Lent. Refreshments
will be available
in the Cathedral
from 7.45pm.

"I
am delighted
to be able
to offer
you this
series of
lectures
for
Lent. The
speakers
are all able
and gifted
communicators,
profound
thinkers
and, most
importantly,
committed
disciples
of Jesus
Christ.
They are
drawn from
across the
breadth of
the church
and their
subjects
will cover
a wide range
of issues
pertinent
to personal
discipleship
in our contemporary
and diverse
culture.
All
the speakers
are preparing
accompanying
bible study
material
that can
be used in
small groups.
We also plan
to podcast
the talks.
However many
of the speakers
will be using
visual material
and interactive
media so
I would urge
as many of
you as possible
to come to
the Cathedral
in person
to be encouraged
and built
up in your
faith."
+David,
Bishop of
