St Stephen's, Rednal
The DO DROP IN project is an outreach programme aimed at serving people in our local area. The project runs a lunch club (every Thursday 12.00-2.00pm) which is specifically, though not exclusively, for the over 65, some of whom are house-bound but would like the opportunity to meet with others and make new friends. Seeing that the area is slowly recovering from the closure of the MG Rover factory in 2005, where a lot of people were thrown out of work, the project is keen to develop a social network of local 65+ people.
